Dragonwings HW
Characters: Moon Shadow, Wrights, Windrider
Setting: Moon Shadow wrote a letter to the Wrights about the plane, then Wrights replied a letter to him.
How the scene begins: Moon Shadow wrote a letter about the machine parts of the plane to the Wrights.
How the scene ends: Wrights sent a letter to Moon Shadow that included the plane's tables and diagrams.
Problems: Windrider wanted to fly like Wrights but he didn't know the details of the machine parts of the plane.
Substitute: What do you think if Moon Shadow didn't write the letter to the Wrights?
I think that Windrider would make the plane by his imagination.
Modify: What would have happened Windrider had a long hair?
I think his hair could be a propeller. When there had wind, his hair would swirl and he
could fly by himself.
Rearrange: What would have happened if Windrider knew how to make the plane before Moon
Shadow had written to the Wrights?
I think that Windrider would be very happy because he could make the plane by his
own without anyone's prompting.
Rewritten Scene:
To the honorable Wrights:
This is to inform you that I am a boy of eleven. I have greatly admired your feats of daring. My father wants to fly too. Can you help him? We need to know how to shape the propellers. We need to know how big the wings should be in order to lift my father into the air. Father says the no one else in the whole world knows as much as you do about aeroplanes. Thanks you.
And I signed it with the sounds of my name spelled out in demon letters. I wrote several drafts of it and then copied it out in the fine, elegant hand Miss Whitlaw had taught me. The Next day we went down together and mailed the letter, " You realize though, Moon Shadow, that even if they were to get this letter, there is no guarantee that they'll answer it. They're busy men, you know."
But two weeks later, I received Wrights' letter. However, they gave me a disappointed answer that I didn't want:
Dear Mr.Lee,
My brother and I are always happy to meet another flying enthusiast. However, we are so sorry that we can't tell anything about making the planes information to you. It's because we think that making this plane is our painstaking effort. We don't want to tell the others how we make it. We want to keep it secretly, but we don't mind you transformed our plane and make it to be your new plane. So, sorry for that we can't tell your anything.
I felt so upset and disappointed after reading this letter. When Father came home, he asked me that why I was unhappy. Then I told him what was happened just now. I said that I just wanted to help him but in fact, I can't. Nevertheless, He said thanks to me that I was unexpectedly. He told me that although I can't help him, I have already tried to do it. Despite it was unsuccessfully, I have tried my best.

The difference and similarity between the 13 colonies and the Hong Kong colony
In the economic way, the difference is the transportation in Hong Kong is more advanced than the 13 colonies. Some transportations are not emerged in the 13 colonies such as aeroplanes. The similarity is both of them have dong the trades but comparing with each other, trading in Hong Kong are more popular than the 13 colonies.
In the political way, the difference is Hong Kong has no constitution but the 13 Colonies has. The similarity is both of them are governed by the Britain. They have governors and rule of law.

Ocean Park
I was confused because all of the games were interesting and exciting, I didn't know which one I enjoyed the most. I think I will choose the game stall which was a basketball game. We needed to shoot the basketballs into a designate position. I abounded confidence because I thought my basketball technique was quite good. Unfortunately, I was able to get one goal only but we at least needed to get two goals in order to get a prize. I was so sad. Luckily, thanks to god, I was got two goals and got a prize before we went back to school. But my purse was very upset that there was only got $20 at last. Each of the game stalls needed to pay for $10 or $20 for playing one time. After going to Ocean Park, I have lost about $120. I felt this was worth because the most important thing was felt happy and excited.
What I need to improve for next time is manipulating the time. I have played a few games although each of them are interesting. Maybe I need to play and walk faster for next time or request the school giving much time to let us to play.

Three specific questions
2. Why do you think that the air and sound pollution in Yau Ma Tei is/isn't serious?
3. What must the government do to solve this problem?

Interviewing in Yau Ma Tei
My group had chosen the title which was " the pollution". We decided to do the air and sound pollution in Yau Ma Tei. We chose to ask the people who was waiting the bus. Once begin, we had already encountered a problem---who was going to ask first? All of us didn't want to be the first one. After a while, I was chosen to be the first one. I felt a little bit frightened. I didn't know what could I do if that people was unwilling to accept my interview. I have chosen the oldest man for my interview. Fortunately, he didn't refuse me and answer my questions politely and courteously. Also, we asked them in Cantonese, noted down the notes and interpreted them in the other scripe.
In this project, I learn that courage is the most important when you want to interview somebody. We shouldn't scare to be shy. I must strengthen my courage next time.

I was a sculptor, a poet and an artist. I made sculptures, wrote some poems and drew pictures for my job. I always looked at the things around me to get some ideas for my works. I also travel to the other places to widen my horizons.
I was so happy and excited because I could meet a lot of people from different places and know more about their lives so that they could make my works more special and rich in content.

When I was eleven, I have finished my primary school life in Mehtodist School. And also I began to think that will I meet my friends when we start our life in secondary school. I was worried about it at that time. Because I know that the opportunity of meeting my friends is very few, I felt scared. I don't know how can I go to maintain our companionship forever. Finally, I know that it is difficult to maintain the companionship forever, so I call on my friends once a month now to
make the companionship continuity.

History HW
The difference is the status of women. In the Middle Ages, the status of women were very low, lower than their husband. They need to work for their husband like farming, being slaves, in order to give a baby, etc. Nowadays, the status of women were being higher and higher. Their accomplishment even can transcend the men. They can do whatever they like and not be restricted from the others.
Also, In the Middle Ages, there has one king only. And now, It seems like that there has two 'kings' in China. The president of China and the prime minister of China.
The similarity is the power of the people. In the Middle Ages, the king is the most powerful people. It seems like Donald Tsang---the most powerful people in Hong Kong. Then the rich and the government officials like the 'barons' in the Middle Ages. Lastly, the poor or the lower income people like the slaves in the Middle Ages.
