History HW

I think both of the Middle Ages and the modern society in Hong Kong have difference and similarity between each other.

The difference is the status of women. In the Middle Ages, the status of women were very low, lower than their husband. They need to work for their husband like farming, being slaves, in order to give a baby, etc. Nowadays, the status of women were being higher and higher. Their accomplishment even can transcend the men. They can do whatever they like and not be restricted from the others.
Also, In the Middle Ages, there has one king only. And now, It seems like that there has two 'kings' in China. The president of China and the prime minister of China.

The similarity is the power of the people. In the Middle Ages, the king is the most powerful people. It seems like Donald Tsang---the most powerful people in Hong Kong. Then the rich and the government officials like the 'barons' in the Middle Ages. Lastly, the poor or the lower income people like the slaves in the Middle Ages.
